Seismic
Command Equipment deals with a variety of 2D, 3D and 4D seismic jobs all across Western Canada. Our machines are light in ground pressure with good horse power so they can deal with 1.75 meter widths while still being able to cope with denser areas of forest where greater horse power is needed to clear the thicker trees.
With the industry switch to low impact seismic operations, mulching has become the preferred method of seismic line clearing and in most areas has a distinct advantage over conventional dozer line cutting. With mulching, the client no longer requires permits to accommodate wide lines for the piling of trees. Mulched seismic lines provide more efficient and safer access for drilling and recording crews while offering substantial savings in line cutting costs to the client. Seismic line projects can now go as narrow as 1.75 m. depending upon access and safety issues.
